I could feel the stress letting go of my body as the sun warmed me up :-)

Believe it or not - this is a desert!

The hotel had wonderful grounds, despite the fact it's in the middle of sand, sand, mountains and some more sand (next to the Red Sea). All I can say is I think they spend a lot of time and water tending the garden:

Egypt

At Easter we spent a week in Egypt, just taking it easy; reading, swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. The weather was fantastic, 27-30 degres, 12 hours of sunshine every day and low humidity (we went to Sinai, which is pretty much a desert...). Next time we'll take a longer trip so we're able to see the Pyramids, Valley of the Kings, Cairo and so on (our trip was cut short this time because the company that sold us the first tickets went bankrupt).

Overnight guests

Last weekend two of our nieces stayed with us. We made pizza, had a bubble bath, watched a movie and had lots of fun!

Uncle Karsten and Dina, Karsten with some of the bling Dina thought he should wear :-)

I'm back!...
