Bergen

My cousin Hannah (from Australia) and her friend Angie came to stay for Christmas (this was the first time we met). They were travelling around Europe for almost two months. A few days after Christmas we went to Bergen for the day: Mona, Angie and Hannah:

We were invited to Annette and Bjørn Vidar's for dinner, fireworks etc. Karsten charmed the two-year-old twins, as you can see.

Visiting Birgit's family's cabin

Just after New Year we left my mum's and drove home the (very) long way so we could visit Birgit's family at their cabin for a couple of nights. Inka got loads of attention and enjoyed the snow and the outdoors (and so did we):

Visit from Denmark

Karsten's cousin Klaus and his family were on their way to Sweden to do some skiing. So on Friday they stopped by to spend the night with us. The top picture is of Esther, who is around 15 months old.

Inka is growing up!

She is now 7,5 months old and weighs around 20 kilos. She'll add a couple of inches more to her shoulder height and somewhere around 5 kilos to her weight over the next few months. Now we're waiting for puberty to hit, which can happen any day. I expect the "demon dog" percentage will increase a bit when that happens.

Welcome in, 2009

Well, it's been a very long time since my last post. I think it's a new record - and not a very positive one: I'll try to add some more pictures to show you a few of the things we've been up to since last summer. So I hope you'll bear with me if the sequence isn't strictly chronological and I end up jumping back and forth a bit.
